This document is designed to inform you about the research project described below. If you select that you choose to participate below, then you are at least 18 years of age, have had all questions answered, and agree to participate in the research described.

Study Information
  1. Topic and purpose: This study examines memory and attention for events involving human interactions. The purpose of this study is to examine recall of details and attentional capacity.
  2. Procedures & Duration: Participants in this study will be instructed to watch a short video involving two individuals, and then they will be directed to answer follow-up questions about the event they observed. It is estimated that this study will take about 5 minutes to complete.
  3. Possible risks: Participants may experience anxiety when observing the video clip.
  4. Benefits: Participants may learn about their awareness of space and also about their recall abilities.
  5. Data usage: Your data may be required to be made publicly available to publish knowledge gained as a result of this study, which means it could be used in future research without additional consent. Any report or data that is made available to the public will not include your name or any other individual information by which you could be identified.
Your Rights
  1. Your participation in this research is voluntary. You have the right to skip any questions and to discontinue your participation in this research without consequence. Participating in this study does not mean that you are giving up any of your legal rights.
